Getting started
Before we begin our consultation phase, it’s essential that you have a ballpark budget in mind. There’s no point commissioning a design if what we create for you ends up way outside your budget.
Once you have a figure in mind, we’ll sit down with you and set out the project parameters, and discuss your preferred materials, the playground location and any site specific complexities. Just think of it as a getting to know you session.
You don’t need a large budget for us to create something special. You just need to be realistic with your expectations. We do love a challenge however, so we’ll always work to create a design that exceeds whatever expectations you may have.
Designing your playground
Our initial design session is done in consultation with you. We’ll show you some standard ‘off the shelf’ equipment, then rough out an indicative design concept. Once we have something we agree on, we’ll do a site visit, before preparing initial costings for you.
Our drafting team will then draw up a detailed schematic of the playground concept, which we will present to you along with detailed costings.
You’ll then have the opportunity to take the drawings and costings away, before coming back to us with feedback and questions.
After this session, our drafting team will draw up detailed project plans and the costs will be finalised for you to sign off.
Work in progress
Once plans are approved and your deposit has been paid, we will agree on a start date for the project, well as finalising specifics around materials, colours etc.
Our bespoke playground design process includes a number of safety, environmental and quality control checks. And, as you would expect, your playground will be Australian Standards certified by an independent, registered, Australian Certifier.
Get ready to play!
Once your bespoke playground is completed, we will meet you on-site for a final inspection. We’ll then arrange a time to officially handover the project.
At the handover meeting we’ll supply you with your playground certification, a maintenance schedule, and your final invoice.
You’ll then be ready to promote the playground to your community, who we guarantee will love what you have created.
